Career

Ricardo practices in Hannes Snellman's Dispute Resolution Group with a special focus on complex international arbitration proceedings. He currently represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings before several major arbitral institutions and ad hoc proceedings across a variety of industry sectors, such as energy and infrastructure, engineering and machinery, and construction. Moreover, he also advises clients on contentious questions regarding trade and compliance and especially EU sanctions regimes.

Ricardo also advises clients on enforcement proceedings and is active in Hannes Snellman’s ESG Group.

In addition to his experience as counsel, he has also acted as an arbitrator in an international dispute under the FAI Rules and also as a tribunal secretary. Ricardo regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on dispute resolution, advocacy or career topics.
