Career

Ricardo is responsible for the Labor and Employment Law department, she has extensive corporate insight and experience in handling labor matters related to M&A transactions, IPOs, international employee transfers, executive compensation, variable compensation (stock options, incentive plans, and profit-sharing), as well as inbound and outbound employee relocations to and from Brazil.

He assists companies in developing compliance programs, conducting internal compliance investigations, drafting codes/policies on ethics, conduct, moral/sexual harassment, use of work tools (computer, internet, telephone, expectation of privacy), and preparing and delivering employee training for the implementation of such codes/policies. His litigation experience includes representing companies not only before the Labor Courts (individual and collective claims) but also before the Ministry of Labor and Employment and the Labor Prosecutor’s Office.

Postgraduate in Labor Law and Labor Process, focusing on business and collective law, with continuing education courses and specialization in Social Security Law, Union Negotiation, and Labor Calculations.
