Renata Campetti Amaral joined the firm in 2002 and became a partner in 2013. She is the head of the Firm’s Environmental Law, Climate Changes and Sustainability group.
She is the head of the ICC's Energy and Environment Commission in Brazil. Renata leads several of the largest environmental and regularization cases in the country, as well as works intensively with ESG strategies and deals related to the generation and transaction of carbon credits.

She holds an LL.M. from the University of Texas – Austin, and specialized in ESG and Sustainability at Berkeley University. Renata is a lecturer and professor of post-graduate courses in environmental law, climate changes and ESG matters.

Experience
She has extensive experience in sustainability and climate change matters, as well as in managing crises and negotiating with stakeholders. She attended actively the last 5 Global Climate Conferences (COPs) and advised clients in relation to the advocacy of relevant climate themes for many sectors.
