Rebeca Herrera is an expert in Insurance Law and Regulation. Her professional practice focuses on matters related to the regulation of the insurance market, legal advice on structuring insurance programs, and dispute resolution in insurance and reinsurance. She has served as legal and international affairs director at Fasecolda, manager of Casualty & Bonds Portfolio at Royal and Sunalliance Colombia S.A., and external legal advisor in matters related to insurance and reinsurance for insurance and reinsurance companies, financial institutions and entities in the energy market. She has been a national and international speaker on insurance law, insurance regulation, and free trade in financial services. In addition, she has been a member of the board of directors of insurance companies and other entities related to the financial and health services markets. Rebeca knows German and Italian. She is currently arbitrator at the Center of Arbitration and Conciliation of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and ARIAS LATAM, university professor (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad del Rosario and Universidad Externado de Colombia) and board member of Acoldese (Colombian Insurance Law Association) and the Iberolatinamerican Council of AIDA (World Insurance Law Association).
