Career
Rafael has been practicing high-complexity litigation (emphasis on domestic and international arbitrations) for more than a decade, with a special focus on M&A, corporate and construction contract disputes. He participated in more than 60 arbitrations administered by the ICC, LCIA, CAM / CCBC, CAMARB, CIEPS / FIESP and CAM / B3.
Before joining Lefosse, he worked as a lawyer in some of the largest law firms in Brazil, in addition to acting as an assistant to some of the most renowned arbitrators in Brazil.
He is a co-translator of the ICCA Guide to the Interpretation of the 1958 New York Convention and the Young ICCA Guide to Arbitral Secretaries.
He is a member of the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG-LCIA), Young ICCA, and a member of the Board of Directors of INOVARB-AMCHAM.
