Career
Scott Cohen’s practice focused on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, public and private securities offerings, and commercial transactions. Mr. Cohen has represented public and private clients across a range of industries, including technology, energy and energy services, manufacturing and consumer/beverage products. His clients have included Texas Instruments, CSW Industrials, Samson Resources, Taiwan Semiconductor, Tokyo Electron, Viasystems Group, Electrical Components International, Berg Electronics, Tire Rack, Hicks & Haas, Hicks Equity Partners, Turnbridge Capital, Dr Pepper/Seven-Up, Dr Pepper Bottling, Bridgestone, and Latrobe Specialty Metals. Mr. Cohen has practiced as a partner in the following law firms: Shearman & Sterling (A&O Shearman), Jones Day, Weil Gotshal and Johnson & Gibbs, spanning over 40 years.
