He advises on a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions for both public and private companies, private equity, joint ventures and strategic alliances, platform investments, club deals, portfolio restructurings, venture / growth capital and significant minority investments, fund raisings, exits, real estate private capital, and distressed M&A transactions.

He covers a wide range of sectors including technology, consumer goods and retail, real estate, industrial and manufacturing, healthcare, and financial institutions. He also advises on corporate structures and corporate restructuring, corporate management and control, foreign direct investment, regulatory issues and commercial agreements. His expertise extends to infrastructure funds, property funds and real estate investment trusts (REITs).

With more than 15 years of experience, Purachate handles a wide range of corporate, M&A and private capital transactions and has developed particular strength in complex and strategic cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, business integrations, and real estate private capital investments.

Renowned as a go-to lead partner on some of the most complex transactions, he is consistently trusted by clients to navigate intricate, high-stakes transactions, from structuring through to execution. Clients commend his intelligence, responsiveness, client-centric approach, and strong commercial acumen, as well as his ability to balance legal, regulatory, and business considerations across multiple jurisdictions. He is particularly adept at negotiating complex transaction documents, mitigating deal risks, and ensuring seamless implementation.

He was also instrumental in the establishment of Thailand's first real estate investment trust, Thailand's first offshore hospitality real estate investment trust and Thailand's first energy-related infrastructure fund, marking significant milestones in alternative fundraising in the Thai capital market.

Purachate also teaches Negotiation and Contract Drafting course at Chulalongkorn University and is a regular speaker in M&A and legal career related topics.
