Priya Palanivel

Priya has built a practice in complex family finance involving both married and unmarried couples, often with an international element, as well as advising on marital agreements with complex asset structures, such as trust structures and complex businesses. Priya has also built a reputation for advising on highly contentious children matters. Priya is known for not shying away from the tough issues, but does so in an empathetic and focused way.

Priya qualified in 2005, and was made up to partner in 2017, having worked primarily in boutique specialist family law firms.

To complement her practice, Priya is a dispute resolution advocate, she qualified as a mediator in 2017, and her mediation practice is going from strength to strength; as such she heads up Hall Brown’s London mediation offering. In addition to this, Priya recently completed her collaborative training as well as the one couple, one lawyer, training. Priya is one of a growing number of Hall Brown’s NCDR practitioners.

Priya is also an active member of Resolution, and sits on the standards committee, as well as being an assessor for the Specialist Accreditation in Complex Finance.

Priya is often instructed by entrepreneurs, founders, professionals, private individuals as well as their spouses/partners.
