He has successfully argued numerous high-stakes injunction matters and is adept at securing and executing Anton Piller orders (search and seizure) in both civil and criminal domains. His track record includes managing large-scale anti-piracy campaigns and criminal enforcement actions to curb counterfeiting.
• Portfolio Management: Beyond the courtroom, Prabhu oversees management of global trademark portfolios for multinational clients. He provides strategic counsel on prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, and clearance searches.
• Brand Protection: He regularly advises on domain name disputes under INDRP and UDRP and handles the recordation of trademarks with Indian Customs to prevent the importation of counterfeit goods.
• Commercial & Transactional IP: Prabhu advises on the commercialisation and monetisation of IP assets. He assists clients with structuring and negotiating complex IP transactions, including licensing agreements, assignments, franchising models, and technology transfer deals. He also oversees comprehensive IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, helping businesses assess risk and valuation.
