Paulo is the partner responsible for the practice of indirect taxation (consumption) and customs, he has wide experience in a large variety of transactions, both domestic and international, working for large and medium-sized companies. He is a reference in the country for high-complex economic chains and operations in regulated sectors, such as oil and gas, automotive, health and equipment, beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and energy, as well as international supply chain structures for foreign companies or domestic ones with business abroad.

His overseas experience includes working for Ernst & Young and KPMG in Munich. In Brazil, he has worked for law firms specialized in tax and foreign investment, and at the Brazilian National Treasury Attorney General’s Office.

Paulo is really into technology and sponsor in the office for the development of technological solutions for the tax world, what enhances and generates accuracy and quality to the works conducted by the team.

Paulo is the Executive-Coordinator of the Project of International Taxation of the Center of Fiscal Studies of the Getúlio Vagas Foundation (NEF/FGV), listed lawyer of the Advantage Austria, ABA Austria and Austria Consulate in Brazil, and member of several professional associations and chambers of commerce.
