Me Paulin MBALANDA is an admitted lawyer to the Kinshasa Bar since 1997, he holds a degree in Economic and Social Law from the University of Kinshasa. Since 2008, he is the founder of MBM CONSEIL. As part of his contribution, he drafted the DRC's White Paper for the Telecommunications Sector on 16 October 2002 and is considered as one of the top leader and most experienced lawyer in DRC, specializing in the telecommunications, audiovisual, computer and Internet sectors. He is also an expert in environmental (forestry, right to natural resources of Local Authorities) law

Work Highlights

- Carrying out legal due diligence for the acquisition of a holding company, the amount of the transaction amounts to 13,500,000$;

-He oversaw the drafting of the Congolese telecommunications law, and assists numerous operators in their activities;

- Drafting and registration of securities contracts in the field of financing bus sales in the DRC;

- Acting as lead permanent legal counsel for the ongoing mining operations of a major mining company for over a decade;

- Assistance in carrying out legal due diligence and assistance in the acquisition of companies and the implementation of the Bukanga Lonzo agro-industrial park project;

- Proposal for the institutional set-up of the sub-regional structure of the Conference of Central African Forest Ministers (COMIFAC);

- Negotiation and signing of electricity supply contracts for companies with the National Electricity Company, SNEL in acronym.
