With more than 20 years of experience in the Mozambican market advising foreign investors, sponsors and lenders, she is involved in structured financing and infrastructure projects. Experienced on cross border transactions and regulatory issues, having developed know how in advising economic operators and contracting authorities in public procurement and public private partnerships. Paula is also an arbitrator, with a developed track record in institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations. She is a Partner with MDR Advogados.

Mozambique Bar Association. CACM (Centre for Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation). Member of the Mozambique Internationalisation Committee for the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Member of the Mozambique Internationalization Committee of the Portuguese Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC-CIM). Member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for Mozambique.
