His transactional background is multi-sector, but he has a wealth of experience advising in the energy and renewables sector, and also in advanced manufacturing and technology. Paul is one of the most experienced corporate lawyers in Northern Ireland. His experience encompasses both domestic and cross-border mandates.

Career

Paul was educated at Queens University, Belfast, and is qualified to practice in Northern Ireland. He has over 25 years’ experience of practicing in the local market. Paul has held Board and leadership roles in UK top 20 law firms and is named as a leading lawyer for corporate/mergers and acquisitions by ‘Chambers UK’, ‘Chambers Europe Guide to the Legal Profession’, and The Legal 500. He joined Davidson McDonnell in 2021 as a Legal Director.
