Paul Coates heads the firm's construction disputes practice in the Middle East.
He advises on a wide range of international and investment treaty arbitrations, both on an ad hoc and institutional basis, and has experience of advising on the rules of many of the major institutions, including the DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, LCIA, ICC, LMAA, AAA and ICSID.
Paul's work spans many jurisdictions and economic sectors, with a particular focus on disputes arising out of large-scale construction and energy projects. He is also a member of the DIFC Court's Arbitration Working Group.
