Panagiotis heads the firm's Tax Department, while he is a member of our Private Wealth Structuring Practice Group. Panagiotis combines a unique expertise in corporate and personal taxation, including real estate taxation, inheritance and donation taxation and international taxation. He is highly involved in many major private clients projects, covering both their tax and their non-tax aspects. Further, he is an experienced litigator, representing private clients before the administrative courts, regarding tax disputes. Before joining KG, Panagiotis was a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte Greece and a tax litigation lawyer at Zepos & Yannopoulos. Panagiotis is a member of the Taxation Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. Panagiotis is admitted to the Athens Bar and works in Greek and English. Panagiotis has been ranked as “Up and Coming” in the Tax Area of Chambers Europe Guide for 2019.

Panagiotis has advised many family offices (including three family offices controlling FTSE/Athex Large Cap-listed companies) on the tax and wealth structuring treatment of their members. Further, Panagiotis has represented many high-net-worth individuals in their tax disputes before the administrative courts. Additionally, Panagiotis has been involved in the restructuring of the ownership of many privately held companies, as well as on the structuring of the investment in the Greek real estate sector, either by Greek-resident individuals or from non-residents. Moreover, Panagiotis advises individuals and family offices members of the Greek ship-owning community on the tax aspects of their business operations. Finally, he has assisted many multinational and domestic companies in shaping the executive compensation scheme of their management and top executives. Chambers Europe, this year, ranked Panagiotis as Band 3.
