Pamela has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing transactions involving the acquisition, development, exploitation and sale of IP rights, including mergers and acquisitions, licenses, joint ventures, strategic alliances, research and development collaborations, digital publishing, e-commerce, outsourcing and corporate finance transactions.
Pamela counsel's major media, publishing, entertainment, technology, life sciences, consumer, fashion and luxury goods companies in the establishment and implementation of comprehensive IP protection and management programs. She is an expert in IP issues arising in transactions, tax controversies and restructurings. She also handles a wide array of legal and compliance issues affecting e-commerce and advertising and marketing, particularly involving new technologies and the emerging opportunities and risk management issues presented by digital and social media platforms. She negotiates sponsorship and endorsement contracts including celebrity licensing, clears advertising for use in media, handles product placement and media production agreements and advises on federal and state regulations governing promotions, including contests, sweepstakes, charitable sales co-ventures and loyalty programs.
