Oscar Morales

Oscar Morales is a partner at Cases Lacambra. He leads the White Collar, Compliance and Internal Investigations practice.

He has a PhD in Law and he is a Criminal Law Professor in several Spanish and Foreign Universities, with more than 30 years of experience in the research and teaching field. He is also the author of multiple articles and books about crimes of embezzlement, against the stock market or workers’ rights among other subjects. He also leads the Criminal Code with comments to the Case Law of Aranzadi Editorial. He usually gives lectures and has organized training courses and seminars for judges in the General Council of the Judiciary in Spain.

As an attorney, he has had the honor to represent the interests of several financial and banking institutions -defending its CEOs, CFOs and Board Members in some cases- multinationals of many sectors (energy, fashion and luxury, FMCG, health, infrastructures, etc.), acting in front of professional Tribunals as well as Juries.

During a period of four years, Oscar Morales practiced as Magistrate in the Provincial Court of Barcelona.
