Osan is the founder of the firm and is based in Aden. She is an Advocate before the Supreme Court of Yemen since 1999. Osan has been a practicing lawyer since 1995 and her experience stretches back to 3 decades. She is considered one of the most prominent female lawyers in Yemen. Osan’s prior experience includes serving as the General Director of Legal Affairs at the Aden Free Zone Authority and holding leading roles in the legal departments of the Ministry of Construction & Housing and the Aden Local Council.
She has developed particular expertise in investment law, arbitration, Free Zone laws and regulations, maritime law, public-owned real estate, environmental issues, and public law. This expertise stems from her extensive experience representing and advising state-owned entities, most notably the Aden Free Zone Authority. She also possesses significant experience advising and representing private clients — especially Yemeni-owned business conglomerates — on corporate structuring, court litigation, taxation, and commercial contract matters.
Osan obtained her law degree from the University of Aden in 1990. She trained and qualified as a lawyer at the Law Offices of Hamida Zakariya - the first female judge in Yemen and the Middle Eastern region.
