Olivier Clevenbergh is an expert in national and international acquisitions, dispositions of shares and assets, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and joint ventures. He has specific expertise in commercial contracts.

Olivier combines his transactional practice with a contentious practice covering the same areas. He therefore also represents clients in corporate and commercial litigation before the Belgian courts, in arbitration.

His dispute resolution activity relates to post-acquisition claims (representations and warranties, price adjustment, earn-out, non-competition undertakings, etc.), disputes between shareholders and directors’ liability.

Olivier is one of the few lawyers to be ranked by the legal directories for both his transactional and his litigation practice. Thanks to this combination, he is well placed to protect his clients in a practical way when negotiating and is fully aware of the deals’ mechanics when litigating.
