Oliver is a partner in our financial services regulatory practice in London.
As a specialist in the regulation of payment services and electronic money, Oliver works with major banks and payment service providers as well as firms looking to get into the payments space. He has a particular focus on advising around the regulatory perimeter and the development and implementation of new products and innovative payment solutions.
Oliver’s recent work has included advising on the launch of a new digital only bank, working with start-up and early stage FinTech clients on the launch and scaling of their businesses and advising a number of crypto asset exchanges on their regulatory position in the UK.
In addition to his experience in private practice, Oliver was seconded to the Financial Conduct Authority where he advised on the implementation of PSD2 and development of regulatory guidance. He has also spent time on secondment with a leading international bank and e-money issuer focusing on payments regulation and compliance.
