Oleksii Maslov

Oleksii Maslov is a Partner with AVELLUM’s dispute resolution practice and Head of International Arbitration practice. Oleksii focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration, cross-border litigation, mediation, as well as complex negotiations. Oleksii has strong background in M&A transactions and corporate law.

Oleksii regularly advises and represents international and Ukrainian clients in high-profile arbitrations under the Rules of the ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, FOSFA, and ICAC at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also advises clients on complex cross-border litigations, involving such jurisdictions as Cyprus, the BVI, the UK and Ukraine. His recent experience includes representing Ukraine in two investment arbitrations with over USD 7 billion in dispute and representing major Ukrainian agricultural producer in a complex LCIA arbitration with parallel court proceedings in Cyprus and Ukraine.

Oleksii is on the Board of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association. He actively contributes to the development of arbitration in Ukraine by participating in amicus curiae briefs for Ukrainian courts, working on bills to improve arbitration climate, and giving lectures to Ukrainian law students.
