Norberto Ruiz

Norberto Ruiz Vázquez is a founding partner of the firm and leads its tax litigation practice. He has over 15 years' experience defending Mexican and multinational corporate taxpayers before the tax authorities and the federal courts.

Tax controversy and litigation. His core practice covers the full defence cycle, from the opening of an audit to a final ruling by the Supreme Court (SCJN): home inspections, desk and electronic reviews, conclusive agreements before PRODECON, administrative appeals (recurso de revocación), annulment proceedings before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice (TFJA), and amparo proceedings. He has particular depth in constitutional challenges to tax provisions and in strategies that run administrative and constitutional tracks in parallel.
