Specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration in the energy (in particular oil and gas), telecommunications and construction sectors relating to projects, supply agreements and joint ventures. Counsel, advocate and arbitrator in over 50 arbitrations under the main international rules of arbitration and in ad hoc proceedings, governed by a variety of procedural and substantive laws including Swiss, English, Lebanese, Kuwaiti, French, Russian, Cypriot, New York and Californian. Also advises clients from the Middle East or in relation to contracts or projects in the Middle East.

Career

Admitted in England & Wales (Solicitor-advocate of the Senior Courts of England and Wales) and in Switzerland (Geneva as foreign lawyer). Joined LALIVE in 2007; Partner since 2012. Formerly practising in the international arbitration groups of two international firms in London.

Professional Memberships

Vice-Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee (co-chair of Corporate Counsel Subcommittee), Executive Committee on the Board of ASA (Swiss Arbitration Association), Pledge Steering Committee and CPR European Advisory Board, SCAI Marketing Committee and of several other professional associations, including the LCIA, the BIICL, the American Bar Association and Arbitral Women.
