All areas of UK immigration, asylum and nationality law with particular emphasis on: complex asylum claims, discretionary applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain, deportation, trafficking and applications for judicial review including strategic litigation.
Lead lawyer for the Windrush Legal Initiative, a pro bono project to help Windrush survivors secure compensation.
Nicola has experience of litigation at all levels, including a successful claim before the European Court of Human Rights.

Qualified in 2009, formally legal director at JCWI. Joined GMIAU in 2022.
