Nick advises a significant number of social landlords on housing matters both contentious and non-contentious. He is one of the best known legal “faces” in the social housing sector. His focus continues to be on complex housing litigation, particularly judicial review challenges, but also non-contentious advice, in particular regulatory advice in relation to the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards.

Nick is well known for his advice on rent regulation compliance and has lectured on the subject in conjunction with the Regulator, CIH and HQN. He has acted for various registered providers in relation to high profile rent investigations initiated by the Regulator of Social Housing.
