Molly Cox

Molly specialises in civil actions against the police and other state bodies within the criminal justice system.

Molly acts for individuals in complaints and civil claims against the police with a particular focus on representing LGBT clients, members of the press, and victims of modern slavery and human trafficking. She also represents bereaved families in inquests arising from deaths following contact with the state.

She is helping to represent non-state core participants in the Undercover Policing Inquiry and has worked as part of the team acting for Disabled People’s Organisations on the Covid-19 Public Inquiry. She also represented bereaved families and residents affected by the Grenfell Tower Fire in their civil claims.
