Mitasha Chandok

Mitasha has more than a decade of experience representing clients in the energy, natural resources and related infrastructure sectors, focussing on oil and gas, LNG and energy transition. She is also a member of the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practice and actively works on ESG advisory matters.

Mitasha’s experience includes complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, project development and financing, and corporate advisory work. She advises across the entire energy value chain, from applications for concessions to downstream trading. Based in London, Mitasha has worked in mature and emerging markets and has advised extensively across Africa and Asia on a number of transactions and projects (including first entries). She has significant experience advising on cross-border pipelines and host government and support arrangements in emerging markets.

Mitasha joined Gibson Dunn in 2018 from a leading international firm. She has spent time in-house on secondment with a multinational oil and gas company, where she advised on the development and financing of an oil export pipeline project.

Mitasha is an executive committee member of Gibson Dunn’s London Office Diversity, Talent and Inclusion Committee, where she co-chairs the gender sub-group and the multicultural forum.
