Corporate M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, private equity, restructuring and workouts. He also advises clients frequently in matters of shareholder disputes, corporate governance and professionalization of family businesses.
Miguel has a deep knowledge of commercial and contractual law, supplemented with a solid understanding of the principles of other areas of law.
He obtained a JD from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (1997), graduate degrees in Corporate law and Tax law from the Universidad Panamericana (1998) and a LLM from Kyushu University (1999).
He was Professor of Commercial Law at the Center for Economic Research and Teaching.
