Miguel Olmedo Robles León is a Mexican criminal law practitioner specializing in complex criminal litigation, with cross-border and international criminal justice experience. He handles high-stakes criminal matters across both federal and state jurisdictions in Mexico, including cases involving multiple defendants, organized crime allegations, white-collar and financial crime, and proceedings with significant constitutional or procedural complexity. His practice combines courtroom litigation with strategic negotiation, positioning him as a trusted advisor in cross-border criminal matters demanding both technical rigor and diplomatic skill.

Mr. Olmedo has particular expertise in extradition proceedings, advising on both outbound and inbound requests under Mexican law and applicable international treaties. He has also served as an expert witness on Mexican criminal law before foreign courts, providing testimony on domestic substantive and procedural matters in cross-border proceedings.

At the international level, Mr. Olmedo is registered as an Assistant to Counsel before the International Criminal Court (ICC), supporting defense teams in matters before the Court. This experience complements his domestic practice with insight into international criminal procedure and defense strategy.

On the pro bono front, Mr. Olmedo founded Fundación Olmedo y Torres, A.C., dedicated to public-interest legal work.
