Miguel Mendes Pereira's work focuses on EU and Competition law.
He has over 25 years of experience handling antitrust, merger control and State aid matters. Miguel also advises on the EU four freedoms and often represents clients (including the Portuguese Republic) before the EU’s top court in Luxembourg.
He previously worked at the European Commission, the General Court of the EU and the Portuguese Competition Authority. Miguel was also a lecturer at the Law Faculty of the Lisbon University between 1992 and 2012.
