Michael Boutros

Michael is a partner at Shahid Law Firm, leading the Capital Market, and M&A practice group.

He possesses more than 17 years of experience in capital market, general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, employment and liquidations.

Michael joined Shahid Law Firm in 2017, after having worked in the Cairo office of one of the world’s largest international law firms for 11 years. His transactional work focuses on initial public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and major projects. He regularly acts as the lead lawyer in deals he is involved in and has experience advising leading multinational companies to execute large cross-border transactions.

Michael holds a PhD from Savoie University granted by the Grenoble École Doctorale (France); a Master of International and European Business Law (LLM) from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, and an LL.B. from Cairo University.
