Practice Areas
Mia’s career spans three decades across law enforcement, international organisations and the corporate sector. She has served as a Police Officer and Investigator with the Swedish Economic Crime Authority, the Financial Intelligence Unit, and the National Anti-Corruption Unit.
For about seven years, Mia carried out international investigations with Europol and the United Nations, and subsequently led corporate investigations at Scania. She has also conducted internal investigations and compliance assignments with the audit firm KPMG. Most recently, she headed the Investigations & Corporate Crime practica at the Swedish Tier 1 law firm Vinge.
This diverse background gives her an unusually broad perspective on economic crime, corruption and internal misconduct. She is top ranked by Chambers & Partners in the area of Corporate Investigations, Europe, and was in 2025 included in Global Investigation Review’s (GIR) list of the top 100 female investigators.
