Assisted companies in communicating and coordinating with Chinese and foreign regulators (PRC Customs, MOFCOM, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, among others) on matters such as license applications, voluntary disclosures, audits and administrative investigations, and removal from relevant lists, obtaining positive responses for clients;

Assisted a well-known foreign semiconductor company in securing Validated End-User (VEU) authorisation from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS);

Assisted a Chinese company in identifying key concerns for review by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and perfecting relevant internal control system documents; coordinated with U.S. counsel to secure CFIUS clearance for client’s acquisition of a U.S. chemical enterprise.
