Meltem Akol's 30+ year practice concentrates mainly on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity transactions, joint ventures, banking and structured finance and PPPs.
Meltem has been involved in numerous major transactions involving Turkish companies operating in a wide range of sectors across the value spectrum most of the "first of their kind" and "most complex of their kind" transactions in Turkey and many international and big-size capital markets bank finance and M&A transactions.
Meltem represents domestic and multinational strategic investors, lenders as well as private equity funds in connection with their investments in Turkey. She acts for equity investors, investment funds and financiers across sectors, including construction, industrial and manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, ports, real estate, retail, financial institutions, and pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career, she developed her expertise from multiple perspectives by taking part in different sides of the projects.
