May regularly advises governments, government-owned entities and commercial clients (including financial institutions and energy companies) in Asia, Europe and the United States, including acting as counsel, advocate and arbitrator in arbitrations under various rules and court proceedings. She sits as an arbitrator in HKIAC, SIAC, ICC and CIETAC proceedings, and has also sat as an Emergency Arbitrator. May served as the firm's China Managing Partner from 2017-2020 and Asia Managing Partner from 2020-2023.
