Career
From 1979 to 1985, Máximo served in the National Judiciary, where he began specializing in Administrative Law. From 1986 to 1988, he practiced independently. Between 1988 and 1991, he worked as a senior associate at Alchouron, Brady Alet & Cardini. He joined Cassagne & Associates in 1991, which later became Cárdenas, Cassagne & Associates, where he served as an associate until 1996 and then became
partner until May 2005, when the firm split and Cassagne Abogados was formed.
Máximo has maintained an active academic career since 1988. He served as an Adjunct Professor in the subject “Elements of Administrative Law” at the Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires. From 1995 to 2000, he taught Administrative Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and has been a professor in its postgraduate specialization program in Economic Administrative Law since 1996.
He also teaches in the Master's program in Administrative Law and the Postgraduate Program in Economic Regulation Law at Universidad Austral, where he coordinates the Electricity Sector since 1998. He frequently appears as a speaker in courses, seminars, and conferences on general Administrative Law and public services regulation.
