I am a partner and head of the dispute resolution practice of Fieldfisher Belgium.
My practice focuses on litigation and arbitration in the field of contract law, corporate law and market abuse.
My experience covers representation of Belgian and foreign clients in:
Contractual disputes;
Shareholders' disputes;
Liability for assets (mis)management;
Directors' liability cases;
Real estate cases.
My experience covers representation of Belgian and foreign clients in all stages of court and administrative proceedings.
I also have experience in domestic and international commercial arbitration both as counsel and arbitrator (CEPANI, ICC and ad hoc).
I handle enforcement proceedings of national and international awards before Belgian courts, as well as setting aside proceedings. In this framework. I have advised international clients seeking to enforce international arbitral awards in Belgium or opposing such enforcements. I am also on the list of arbitrators of the CBAS, the Belgian Court of Arbitration for Sport.
I am a lecturer in contract law and ADR at Saint-Louis University – Brussels and he regularly publish articles in the field of contract law, corporate law and arbitration.
My mother tongue is French, he is fluent in English and Dutch.
