Matthew specialises in criminal defence, having worked in the field since 2021.

Matthew has an impressive track record of success in all manner of criminal defence work, including notable successes in the Court of Appeal and in high-profile Crown Court trials.

He has significant experience in representing clients facing some of the most serious offences, including multi-handed and multi-national fraud, sexual offences, and serious violent offences (including GBH and attempted murder). He has seen considerable success in securing not guilty verdicts and favourable sentences.
