Matteo heads the Insurance Department and has extensive experience in insurance matters, both contentious and non-contentious, (regulatory aspects, legal opinions on financial lines policies (D&O, PI, W&I etc.) and other insurance matters, (works with the Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority IVASS, policy wording and policy design, setting up and passporting of foreign insurance companies etc.). He also assists several Syndicates of the Lloyd’s Market, as well as national and international reinsurance and insurance leading companies.

In addition to proceedings before judicial authorities (Tribunals, Courts of Appeal and the Court of Cassation), Matteo has been involved in a number of arbitration procedures, both domestic and international.
