For long, Masahiro has been an attorney dedicated to technology and Intellectual Property.
He has a prestigious career as an IP litigator, as well as negotiator and consultant regarding the field. For these few years, he has turned his career to consulting practice aimed to SMEs, including startups particularly having innovative technologies.
Masahiro studied at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Institute of Science Tokyo. He joied Fujikura Electric Wire Corporation (currently: Fujikura Ltd.) in 1985, engaged in the development of materials for electric wires. He qualified as a patent attorney in 1991. He joined IBM Japan Ltd. in 1992 and engaged in the management of intellectual properties. He qualified as a lawyer in 1999 and joiend the Oba & Ozaki Law Office. He joined the Matsuo Law Offices (currently, Legal Corporation Matsuo & Kosugi). He established the Uchida & Samejima Law Firm and has served as its managing partner ever since.
