Marysia specialises in clinical negligence cases, having built up a strong reputation in this field over the years amongst clients, colleagues, and fellow professionals. She is the head of the Firm’s Litigation Department, and practices in High Court Litigation.
Marysia completed the Law Society’s inaugural Mediation Training Course in 1999. This course provides training in advanced negotiation, dispute resolution, and mediation. She has been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers since 2002, and obtained a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy, in 2003.
Marysia obtained an LLB Honours Degree at Queen’s University Belfast in 1996 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 1998, having completed her apprenticeship at John J McNally & Co. She continued in the Practice as an Assistant Solicitor, becoming a Partner in 2005, and Senior Partner in April 2014.
Marysia also sits as a Panel member on the Legal Services Agency’s Independent Appeal Panels.
Marysia is a member of the Queen’s Bench Clinical Negligence Sub-Committee, and is a member of the Management Board for the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Practitioner’s Group.
She has also assisted as a tutor on the Clinical Negligence Couse at the Institute of Legal Studies, Belfast.
