Dr. Martin Foerster is a founding partner and head of the real estate and construction practice group at Pitkowitz & Partners and has worked extensively in this area for more than 20 years, advising clients on all legal aspects of the real estate industry. He has broad expertise and experience on complex real estate transactions for both the seller and buyer side. He regularly advises on real estate development projects beginning with the acquisition of the land, to the construction works and all civil and public law related issues (including permits) and, ultimately, sale of the property.
Dr. Martin Foerster also specializes in commercial and private lease law. He provides comprehensive advice on lease and rental agreements with all relevant legal issues.

In addition to numerous publications, he is co-author of the "Handbook of Real Estate Transactions" (2012, 2014) and the Handbook of Landlord and Tenant Law (to be published in 2021). Dr. Martin Foerster also frequently speaks at specialist seminars on real estate topics. Dr. Martin Foerster was president of the Real Estate Commission of AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers from 2016 to 2019. He held a teaching position at the Real Estate Department of the University for Applied Sciences for Management and Communication in Vienna for 10 years.

Martin is married and proud father of two girls.
