Martin studied Law at the University of Regensburg, the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, the University of Alcalá, Spain, and the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Master of Laws 1999. Doctor of Laws 2001. In the years 2000 to 2008, Martin worked at Gleiss Lutz and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he led the German competition-law practice. He founded the BUNTSCHECK law firm in 2008.
