Marta Romano de Castro is a Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2001 working primarily in business structuring and restructuring operations for companies as they relate to corporate and financial law. She focuses particularly on matters related with acquisitions, mergers, demergers and transfer of assets or exchange of shares and private equity operations. She also works on different types of investment operations in Angola and Mozambique, providing corporate assistance and by networking with lawyers from Abreu International Legal Solutions in those countries. Additionally she has extensive experience in advising on transactions in the insurance, private equity, health, retail and financial sectors and has participated in some of the most relevant restructuring operations of multinational groups which have taken place in Portugal.
