Mark is chair of the Listing Authority Advisory Panel (LAAP), which advises the FCA on primary markets policy and regulation issues. He is also a member of the FCA’s Markets Practitioner Panel as well as of the Primary Markets Group, which advises the London Stock Exchange on capital markets matters. He also sits on the Company Law Committee of the City of London Law Society as well as on the Capital Markets Industry Task Force.
He advised Lord Hill on the UK Listing Review in 2021. In October 2021 he was appointed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer as the independent Chair of the UK Secondary Capital Raising Review, with his report to HM Treasury being published in July 2022.
