Marina Fechetă-Giurgică

Marina joined RTPR in 2017. Marina has experience in advising international and domestic companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as on capital markets projects (both transactional and regulatory), whilst also assisting clients on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters.

Recently, Marina advised the private equity fund MidEuropa on the EUR1.3 billion sale of Profi to Ahold Delhaize, the largest transaction in the retail sector ever concluded in Romania and the largest private equity deal in Romania to date, and on the sale of Regina Maria Group to Mehiläinen in the largest ever healthcare services transaction in Central Europe. Other recent highlights include Abris Capital Partners' sale of Pehart Grup, one of the largest paper producers in South-Eastern Europe, to INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, the leading private equity fund in the Baltic States; Global Records’ sale of a minority stake to Believe, one of the world’s leading digital music companies; and Autonom Services' EUR30 million sustainability link bond issue.

Marina Fechetă-Giurgică is a qualified Romanian lawyer, registered with the Bucharest Bar and a member of the National Union of Romanian Bar Associations.

Marina Fechetă-Giurgică graduated from the University of Bucharest, Law Faculty in 2017.
