Trusted advisor in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including asset and share deals both seller or buyer side oriented. Mariano is also an expert in the design and implementation of agreements to prevent and resolve shareholder disputes, focusing his practice on the representation of private and public companies and financial investors in connection with public and private mergers and acquisitions and various types of investment transactions.

He has also participated in several real estate transactions in Mexico, contributing his knowledge and experience in the purchase and sale of real estate, structuring of real estate schemes, negotiation and implementation of agreements between real estate owners, builders and real estate developers.

Mariano obtained his law degree and graduated with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México in 2014 and has more than 13 years of experience as a lawyer.

He began his professional career at Rios Zertuche, González Lutteroth y Rodríguez, S.C. back in 2011, becoming a partner in 2020, after which he became founding partner of Velázquez, Acebal & Asociados, S.C., being recognized for his impeccable professionalism in the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions area.
