Mariana has a wide breadth of experience on tax and social security issues related to payroll and executive compensation such as Long Term Incentive Payments, Benefits, Bonus, Profit Sharing, Equity payments, Taxation related to health and safety on labour environment, Agribusiness Taxation as well as on social security regulations. She represents clients in the automotive sector, pharmaceutical, chemical, hygiene products and cosmetics, retailing, agribusiness and services, among others. Works with Administrative and Judicial Litigation as well as Tax Planning and Consulting regarding Executive Compensation and Payroll Taxes.

Mariana has been recognized for her work in the tax field by the main legal directories such as ITR - International Tax Review, in the categories Tax Controversy and Women in Tax , LACCA Approved, Latin Lawyer , Legal 500 and Análise Advocacia.

Personal

She graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mckenzie with a degree in Law, from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo with a graduate diploma in Tax Law, from Escola Paulista de Direito (EPD) with a specialization in Social Security Law and also holds a master’s degree (LL.M) from the School of Law of University of Sydney.
