Margriet has a broad dispute resolution practice with a focus on contractual disputes and liability litigation, class actions and arbitration. She has extensive experience in large, complex disputes, both in court litigation and arbitration.
Before founding Ysquare in 2019, Margriet de Boer worked for almost 15 years in the international litigation and arbitration practice at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. She subsequently founded the boutique law firm Just Litigation in 2016.
Margriet regularly publishes and lectures on civil procedural law and arbitration law. Her publications include the annual chronicle on civil procedural law in Nederlands Juristenblad, the leading Dutch law journal, and the chronicle on arbitration law in Tijdschrift voor Civiele Rechtspleging. She also serves as editor of Sdu Commentaar Burgerlijk Procesrecht, a leading commentary on Dutch civil procedural law. Since 2025, Margriet has been a lecturer on the CPO specialist training course in Mass Claims.
Margriet chairs the Advisory Committee for civil procedural law of the Dutch Bar Association (NovA).
