Marco Tulio Venegas

Founding Partner of LITREDI, S.C. with 28 years of international experience. He is one of the most recognized attorneys in Mexico in the field of international commercial arbitration. He pairs his expertise in arbitration with a wide range of experience in administrative, commercial litigation and constitutional (amparo) litigation. As such, he has acted as counsel in more than 200 amparo proceedings defending companies and individuals in commercial and human rights matters.

He has acted as counsel in several of the most complex litigation and arbitration matters for both multinational clients and governments around the world. His experience includes the successful participation as counsel in two of the largest commercial arbitrations in Mexican history, worth more than US$1.7 billion, as well as the most important infrastructure disputes ever with governmental entities. Mr. Venegas acts as arbitrator and counsel in large arbitration proceedings taking advantage of its experience in regulated markets, such as energy, infrastructure and oil and gas.

He has international experience in the United States and France and has worked at law firms abroad as well as with the ICC Court in Paris. He has given several conferences and lectures related with arbitration and litigation in Mexico, Europe, China, US and Latin America.
